Stand your ground, and be watchful of your surroundings. She believes all the gossip--but it doesn't make you guilty!

Gossip in meetings: You know everything is supposed to be kept confidential.

But if people keep talking about you, stop going. You are not naive enough to believe they will keep their mouths shut, right?

Plan ahead: Don't go out of town at the drop of a hat. That's how you get stuck with situations.

You may not normally hang out with a red-headed drug dealer, so plan ahead!

Take money! That way you can split up if you can't find another room.

If you travel in large groups, this could be a big hassel if you have to stay with the person with all the money.

Carry a passport! If you are a foreigner, you especially need it, along with a green card!
