No Money

Never give your adult children money. Tell them to move in with you and get a job. (Don't worry, they won't.)

Avoid Phone Calls

If your adult children aren't calling you, don't call them. They call eventually. The whole idea here is to piss them off.

Sell Everything

Don't be an estate sale waiting to happen. Don't be the custodian of the family heirlooms. Dump it all and live in an RV.

Get a dog. Get 2 dogs. Get something small, cute, and adorable.

Dogs are wonderful. You can take them to the dog park, buy them little toys and treats, and play with them. Who the heck needs kids?

Ask Them To Visit, say nice things, be cheerful. Never criticize.

If you ask your spoiled adult children to visit, it makes them think you're stupid. Never let your adult kids think you have a brain.

"There are plenty of spoiled adult children out there, with no regard for their parents or grandparents. Dealing with them is easy. Don't."
