Really, we need fats to maintain good health! Butter is good, especially unprocessed (raw), or minimally so, such as Kerrygold brand.
The fat is NOT as bad as we've thought. Think of all the '50s sitcom breakfasts. Heart disease was virtually nil only 100 yr ago.
Yeah, seriously. We've been brainwashed to think margarine, Crisco & vegetable oils are healthier than butter & lard. Umm, not true at all.
Everything in moderation, so don't avoid this scrumptious morsel if you love it because you worry about the fat! Low-fat diets are harmful!
Like everything above, fat and cholesterol are less troubling than processed foods, cows that don't eat grass, and chickens fed grain.
